In years past Laconia’s 4th of July activities have been held at Opechee Park. This year, however,
because of the construction being done at Memorial Middle School, the entire event has been shifted
to the downtown, with vendors and musicians relocating to the municipal parking lot adjacent to City
Hall and the actual fireworks going off from the roof of the nearby parking garage. Come early and
enjoy a perfect Lakes Region event!

Parking is available in the Alton Bay public parking lot and along Rte. 11 in Alton Bay. Boat parking
to watch the show from the lake will be available south of Shibley's Restaurant and north of the channel
markers going into Back Bay

from 7:00 to 10:00. Parade kicks off at 10:00. All day visit the antique car show in the Freudenberg parking lot,
participate in a softball game on the ballfield, or listen to fabulous music at the bandstand!

Annual Fireworks at Crystal Lake Park in Gilmanton starting at 6:30. Live Music is provided throughout
the evening by the Don Guarino band. Moonwalk for the kids.

Candy, Steamed Dogs and Fries. The Fireworks begin at 9:15. Our Pyrotechnic Wizard is Wendall Beck and
the show delights young and old alike.
Directions: The Crystal Lake Park is located on Crystal Lake
Road off NH Route 140 in the Gilmanton Iron Works village. Follow the signs for parking in the Park lot,
along Boat Ramp Road, and along the west side of Crystal Lake Road. No Parking allowed on the east side
